Books Read in 2008

2009

1. East of Eden by John Steinbeck

2. Wings by Aprilynne Pike

3. The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls

4. Cross My Heart and Hope to Spy by Ally Carter

#2: Hons and Rebels by Jessica Mitford

I love the Mitfords, so it stands to reason I would love Decca’s memoir, but the “red sheep” of the Redesdale clan certainly has a flair for the dramatic so you can’t believe just everything you read in here—it is still, however, a really fascinating, witty, well-written book and I heartily recommend it.
