#29: Paper Towns by John Green
This book is like what it would look like if Looking for Alaska and An Abundance of Katherines hooked up and had a baby—a sort of mysterious book about the quest for the ungettable girl where teen problems like “Who am I?” and “What do I do now?” are taken seriously but augmented by lightness of tone and witty banter and quirky characters; in other words, it’s a John Green book, perhaps his best yet although I love the grave darkness Alaska’s drama gives it, which is missing here and in Katherines, most likely on purpose.
