#51: The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
I don’t know how I missed this book growing up, but it’s the sort of indelible YA that people talk about way, way into their adulthoods as some sort of life-changing event, and it kind of makes you believe that all this soul-searching, all this questioning about who you are and if you’re doing things the right way at the right time with the right people and if there is a “right” anything, anyway, will eventually lead to some sort of place where you can say, yes, this is what I’ve gone through, and this is what I’ve learned, and I have a long way to go but even the fact that I got here means something.
